What is the Eden Institute Foundation – the Foundation serves as the development arm of Eden Autism Services, and was incorporated in 1984 to raise operating, capital and endowment funds in support of Eden’s mission to improve the lives of individuals with autism and their families.

The Annual Fund campaign, an ongoing special tribute program, corporate and foundation grants and planned giving activities are important components of Eden's development efforts. The Foundation also holds a wide variety of fundraising events each year, in both New Jersey and Florida, including "Eden Dreams", "Eden Presents…", several golf outings and raffles. Individuals who have made a bequest or other planned gift to Eden Family of Services compose the William J. Noonan Legacy Society, whose members' foresight and generosity helps assure the continued excellence and sustainability of the services Eden provides for children and adults with autism.

The Eden Institute Foundation also conducts a variety of donor recognition and community give-back activities. These include the annual "Friends of Eden" Awards, honoring individuals or organizations that have provided major support to the organization, and the Eden Autism Services Scholars Program, which provides two types of scholarships. The Eden Institute Foundation Scholarship is available to local graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue college careers in special education or related fields. The Alexis Kate Special Education Teachers Scholarship is available to college sophomores and juniors who have declared a special education major. The purpose of these and other community relations efforts is two-fold: 1) to recognize and give back to the people who support Eden and 2) to promote public awareness of both the needs and abilities of people with autism and Eden's mission.
