Eden Florida Staff

Eden Florida was founded in 1996 to address the state’s growing need for individualized specialized services for children and adults with autism and their families. Following the model of Eden’s lifespan programming in New Jersey, Eden Florida’s services range from comprehensive outreach, including program consultations and early intervention, to 12-month education for school age students and residential and employment services for adults.
Interim Director and Assistant Director of Children’s Services
Lauren A. Lovell, M. Ed., BCBA
Ms. Lovell has national certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She graduated from Castleton State College, Vermont with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary and Special Education and holds a degree of Masters in Education Administration and Supervision from the University of South Florida where she completed a doctoral study in Special Education Program Development. Ms. Lovell has over thirty years experience in the public school system working with children and adults with behavioral and/or emotional disorders, including autism. Her certifications as a professional educator in Florida include the areas of: Elementary Education; Emotionally Handicapped K-12; Administration and Supervision; and English for Speakers of Other Languages Endorsement. In the School District of Lee County, Ms. Lovell has been a Teacher of Exceptional Students and a Behavior Analyst for Exceptional Student Education. Ms. Lovell served as Adjunct Instructor for Nova Southeastern University for six years. In addition, she served Lee County as District Coordinator for School Wide Positive Behavior Support and as a Para Educator Instructor. Ms. Lovell has been in private practice for the past five years working with individuals demonstrating challenging behaviors. Her leadership experience includes two years both as President of the Council for Exceptional Children’s Gulf Coast Chapter and the Florida Council for Children with Behavioral Disorders. Ms. Lovell has received numerous awards for Leadership and has presented with Dr. Patrick McGreevy at the Florida Council for Exceptional Children Conference, as well as numerous conferences in both Massachusetts and Florida. Director of Development
Susan L. Suarez, MBA, CFRE
Susan Luenberger Suarez has more than 20 years experience in nonprofit management and fundraising. Prior to joining Eden, Ms. Suarez provided consulting services to nonprofit organizations locally and nationally. Her previous positions include President of the Community Foundation of Collier County, Vice President of Development and Marketing for the Silicon Valley Community Foundation (CA), and management positions with the American Red Cross in Palo Alto, CA. Ms. Suarez holds B.A. degrees from Stanford University and an MBA from Santa Clara University. She is a certified fundraising executive (CFRE).
Assistant Director of Adult Services
Amber D. Perymon. Psy.D.
Dr. Perymon received her docorate in psychology from the School of Professional Psychology, Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed an internship at the Kelberman Center for Autism and Related Disorders in Utica, New York. Dr. Perymon has worked as a psychologist and supervisor/manager in a variety of settings including therapeutic schools, hospitals, universities and comprehensive community health centers. Dr. Perymon is skilled at assessment for various mental health and organizational issues and has been trained in organizational, neuropsychological, psycho-educational, objective and projective assessment. She has significant experience managing treatment teams, conducting individual therapy, applied behavioral analysis, psycho-educational groups and social skills groups for children and adults with developmental disabilities and their families for the past ten years..
Behavior Analyst
Julianne Franzke, M.A., BCBA
Ms. Franzke has national certification as a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Japanese from Western Michigan University which included studies in Kyoto, Japan and earned a Master of Arts degree in Psychology and Behavior Analysis from the University of Nevada in Reno. Ms. Franzke spent five years as a Specialist in the United States Army Reserve and eight years in the behavioral field as: Behavior Technician providing discrete trial teaching and conducting functional behavior assessments for children with autism; Case Manager developing and implementing protocols for adults with developmental disabilities; Behavior Analyst, Consultant, and Clinical Director designing and implementing training programs in the functional analysis of problem behaviors. Ms. Franzke is trained in CPR, AED, First Aid, HIV/AIDS, Blood Borne Pathogens and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (Crisis Prevention Institute) and is a member of the Florida Association of Behavior Analysis and the Organizational Behavior Management Network and has presented at conferences for both organizations.

Staci L. Thompson, M.A. Florida Certified Exceptional Student Education Teacher
Ms. Thompson holds a Master of Education in Special Education degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has seven years experience teaching children with autism and related disabilities and is a Florida Certified Special Education Teacher K to 12. Ms. Thompson is a member of the National Association of Private Special Education Centers (NAPSEC) and the Eden Florida Behavior Management Commitee, she is trained in CPR, First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (Crisis Prevention Institute) and she is completing course work to become a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst.
Behavior Analyst
Kristen A. Neves, B.A., BCABA Florida Certified Exceptional Student Education Teacher
Ms. Neves has national certification as a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire. After an Internship with Behavioral Pediatrics in Massachusetts, Ms. Neves joined Eden Florida for several years as a Behavior Therapist. She joined the Lee County School District to serve as a classroom teacher for an inclusion Pre-K autism program that was designed by Eden Florida and the school district. Ms. Neves also served as a Consultative Teacher for Autism with Lee County schools, an Educational Consultant and, Behavior Analyst through the University of South Florida before returning to Eden as a Behavior Analyst for the school program. Ms. Neves is certified in Medication Administration, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (Crisis Prevention Institute).

Jackie E. Indriago, B.A. Florida Certified Exceptional Student Education Teacher
Ms. Indriago graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education degree from Florida Gulf Coast University. She has three years teaching experience in the field of autism and is a Florida Certified Exceptional Student Education Teacher. She is certified with the American Red Cross in DPR- Adult and Child training and Standard First Aid. Currently, Ms. Indriago is completing studies for a Masters degree in Special Education at Florida Gulf Coast University.
Supervisor of Adult Day Training
Nicole E. Veit, B.A.
Ms. Veit graduated Russell Sage College in Troy, N.Y. with a Bachelors of Arts degree. She joined Eden Florida as a Job Coach in 2008 and now serves as Supervisor of Adult Day Training in Ft. Myers. Prior to relocating to Florida, Ms. Veit was employed with an ARC agency serving individuals with developmental disabilitiers in Gloversville, New York. Her experience also includes life guarding in college as well as teaching swimming in summer camps. Ms Veit is cerified by the American Red Cross in Adult-Child CPR and First Aid and has completed training from the Crisis Prevention Institute in Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.
